2. Sather Tower and its surrounding campus
Photographer: Tiantong Lu
Source: the author's own photograph, Z722055.jpg, supplied for this website.
Original:5504 ×8256 pixels;16,508,702 bytes. Copyright remains with the author.
Changes: cropped at x250/y450,5000 ×7650 pixels, preserving the complete tower
and nearby buildings/trees; optimized as WebP and presented in grayscale with
reduced opacity and feathered CSS masks. No AI-generated architectural detail.
Reproduce the exact crop with scripts/prepare-personal-photos.mjs.
The full-resolution original is a development input, not a public download.

Presentation: Astro optimizes local assets at build time. The right library
photograph remains unchanged. These are existing campus photographs, not
documentation of the author's research or an institutional endorsement.
Previously used tower photographs by Carol M. Highsmith and4300streetcar are
retired from this preview. Their sources remain in development history/assets;
they are not the current tower background.
